To enhance students’ abilities to respond to emergencies, ensure they gain professional emergency knowledge, strengthen safety awareness, improve safety coordination skills, and build basic safety knowledge and self-protection abilities, the school will organize an activity to collect emergency evacuation route maps created by students. This aims to reinforce safety awareness and help improve campus safety measures.
The requirements for participation in the evacuation route mapping activity are as follows:
1.Map Selection: choose a specific location or building within the school, such as a Teaching building, Dormitories, Libraries, Cafeterias, Gymnasiums, or other key locations, and clearly label emergency exits, stairways, and other critical escape points.
2.Sketch the layout of the venue:Draw the floor plan of the venue on paper, including main corridors, rooms, stairs, exits, and other important evacuation information.information to facilitate safe evacuation.
3.Evacuation Routes Indications:Based on the actual situation of the venue, mark the escape routes and safe areas, such as emergency exits, fire lanes, and locations of fire extinguishers.
The submission deadline isNovember 30. Students should submit either an electronic version or a scanned copy of the campus evacuation route map toniceshan1@mail.xjtu.edu.cn. Please name your submission using the format: "Major + Class + Name + Phone Number".
Students who participate and meet the required standards will receive a small fire safety gift. We encourage everyone to actively participate and contribute to campus safety, helping to build a safe and stable campus environment.
